iLEAD, is an abbreviation for Islamic Leadership, established in 2011 by Professor Saleem Kidwai OBE, former Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Wales. Our mission is to empower Muslim youth to become the next generation of leaders through skills-based training and Islamic principles taken from the Quran and Sunnah.

Tailored to various age groups and experience levels, iLEAD offers three unique programmes, all aimed at nurturing strong and effective leaders:
iLEAD Junior: Designed for ages 13 to 16 years old.
iLEAD Senior: Geared towards ages 18 to 25 years old.
iLEAD Professional: For individuals in professional jobs with a minimum of 10 years of work experience.

Our selection process takes place between August and September. All courses start in October and run accordingly.
To maintain the highest standards, we have an intensive onboarding session and limited spaces for each programme. Applicants can expect a rigorous selection process, including a written application form, a face-to-face interview, and a signed commitment contract. Even unsuccessful applicants benefit from the professional application process, gaining valuable insights to improve themselves for the future.
